It’s a slow day and it’s raining and I’m trying to think of songs with rain in the title.. Who’ll Stop The Rain? Singin’ In The Rain, Purple Rain..

I had a look at the five day forecast, there’s light showers and heavy showers, light rain, heavy rain, wind and rain, rain and wind, sunny intervals, showers, more light showers, light to heavy showers, cats and dogs, stair rods, monsoon, typhoon, plague. It’s all there, something for everyone. It IS August after all.

Have you ever thought if the world was tilted a little off its axis we’d be closer to the equator? There’d be palm trees in Newport, sun kissed beaches, blue skies all year round. Pound shops selling beach wear. Millionaires’ yachts passing under the Transporter Bridge. Gucci and Armani on the Leeway Industrial Estate. Style Police, “Freeze! That beer gut doesn’t go with that football shirt. We’re taking you in. Up against the wall, tubby.”

You could say our climate is as unpredictable as the quality of these blogs.. Oh wait, the sun’s coming out.. I don’t want to do this anymore. Is it too wet to cut the grass, do you think?
