Morning Has Broken. ( or, Things Could Be Worse.) (New Version).
Morning has bro-ken, like the first mor-ning, S’posed to be sun-ny, but I bet you it rains, Chavs on the cor-ner, kicking off wing mirrors, Welcome to Wa-les, have a nice day.
Spiralling gas bills, fa-lling standards, Co-llecting ASBO’s, the la-test craze, Empty Pol-ice Stations, nobody’s in there, They’ve gone to Wey-mouth, to have a nice day.
Crap on the tel-ly, crap on the ra-dio, Crap on the p-avement, and some on your shoes, Br-eak the l-aw, they’ll put you in pri-son, But you don’t have to stay there, and they don’t lock the door.
Maybe to-morrow, it’ll get bet-ter, The sun might sh-ine, but don’t hold your breath, All is not l-ost, don’t get downhearted, Things could be wo-rse, keep that in mind.
